Description12 gelatin silver prints (cliché verre) from 1934-1935. Each print is tipped in to a paper folder containing the number and name of the photograph. The series is prefaced with an introduction in French by Brassaï, accompanied by an English translation, and housed inside a black clamshell box with imprints of the title "Transmutations par Brassaï" and the artist's signature in gold lettering. The portfolio is numbered 20 in an edition of 100.
