Hine. \ This is One of the oldest houses in Hastings. \ The old Draper Homestead, built in 1710 and occupied after 1849 \ by J.W. Draper,- scientist, photographer, author and historian. \ The house is at present occupied by his grandson and family,- \ Dr. John William Draper, a prominent New York surgeon.
