NO. 18. \ Morning Roll Call. \ Every morning the Indians are required to sit or stand in front \ of their Teepes, to be counted by two commissioned Officers, con- \ sisting of the old and new officers of the day. When a child is \ born, (a frequent occurence,) they are brought out in the line to \ be registered, that they may draw their regular rations the same \ as an adult. \ Number of Indians, May 19th, 1882, are as follows : \ [tabulation] \ [backlist of titles in series]
