Inscribed in black ink on mount, R: B. 240 \ Excavated in 1869 the only one of the kind in the midst of the Palaces \ of Emperors—is believed to have been house of Tiberius Claudius \ Nero, father of Tiberius. Called Casa di Livia. Livia, the mother of \ Tiberius retired here after death of Augustus, in order to marry whom she \ she divorced her first husband (probably Tiberius Claudius Nero (?) [sic]
