DescriptionThe second of five related suites containing a total of 88 salted paper and silver albumen prints and 124 waxed paper negatives primarily made in Normandy, France, around 1855. Accompanied by contemporary captions, the second suite consists of 74 negatives and 9 prints depicting architectural monuments in Caen, Saint Lô, Bayeux, Évreux, Falaise, and Mont Saint Michel, including cathedrals, churches, municipal buildings, and street scenes.
