"The Shade Of A Buddy's Arm" "Tenderly a grim-faced American soldier
shades a fallen buddy's eyes from the sun, as they await his transfer
to a Coast Guard-manned invasion transport off the bloody beach of
Leyte Island in the Philippines. Expressions of the two soldiers bare
a rage in their breasts and bodes ill for Jap snipers."
