[Translation, 6/97, AH] Sepia representing the view of the Temple of Solomon: by Daguerre, inventor of the Diorama and Photography. It was used to create the large view represented in Diorama about 1832 in Paris. (Cromer) [Exactly: "The Inauguration of the Temple of Solomon" presented in Diorama in 1836 (see the newspaper "Artist."] Bequeathed to Mr. Mentienne former mayor of Bry-sur-Mer by Madame de Sainville niece and adoptive daughter of Daguerre, died in March 1900. (Cromer) [Writing of Mr. Mentiene, son of the friend of Daguerre.]
