Inscribed on verso, [verso inaccessible]: Kutub Minar from the East, (Near Delhi, India) \ 238 ft. 1 in. high above the level of the ground \ 47 ft. 2 in. diameter at the base \ 9 ft. diameter at the top \ 379 steps in the ascent. \ The small structure on the right was once in its place as the capitol of the column, but having been injured it was taken down and set up where it now stands
