Disciples slept white Our Saviour was in the agonies of His Passion,
and which still bears marks of the building that was erected over it
in the earliest ages of Christianity. On this spot, just 'over the
brook Cedron,' diverge the three very ancient, deep-worn, rocky roads
which lead from the City of Bethany: - bearing further testimony to
the identity of the sacred 'Garden:' - and thus illustrating, ..."
