DescriptionLeather bound pre-manufactured album consisting of sixty-three mounted prints. Individual photographs are accompanied by inscriptions in black ink specifiying their location. Photographs were taken during a summer holiday trip to Switzerland with Frederick Ives and his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Olmstead. Assembled as a travelogue of snapshots and ephemera depicting the landscape, architecture, and street scenes at places such as Andermatt, Thun, Geneva and ending in the port of Queenstown, Ireland. In addition, a photograph of Frederick Ives with "the color camera" is included.
