DescriptionAlbum containing 51 photographs, mostly cyanotypes of various sizes, mounted to the album pages. These document campus buildings and interiors, as well as the activities of groups of young women, including the traditions associated with "Ivy Day," held on the day before commencement ceremonies. One double page spread shows 8 young women posed in a row, both a front view and one from behind. There are also a few gelatin silver photographs, including one of William McKinley in a carriage with another man. Images were made by Beulah W. Johnson, probably while a student at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts who graduated in the Class of 1903 and made these images during the course of her college years.
