verso (typed): After the War was over......Oct 1985 / d85-250 / These images form part of a major retrospective photographic book produced by the English publisher Thames & Hudson and illustrates the postwar years in Europe which had been devastated for nearly 6 years. The images were taken in the early days of the MAGNUM photographer cooperative which was created by Robert Capa, David Seymour, Henri Cartier Bresson and George Rodger, and include the work of Erich Lessing, Inge Morath, Werner Bischof, Rene Burri and many others.
