Four year old Elefteria Tranopoulous the only child left in the Greek Village of Oxia - is presented with a pair of shoes by the United Nations Inter. Children's Emergency Fund

Oxia - Greek One-Child Village. [underlined] The ice is broken. Elefteria ran through the village in delight, laughing and kicking her feet. Only from time to time, she stopped to touch the new shoes carefully and almost tenderly. Her happiness was absolutely perfect.
