There is a church immediately behind this
dome in connection with the Hotel des
Invalides. It is the Church of St. Louis des
Invalides or also styled the church of the Soldiers
Flags captured in battles long ago and now hanging in
shreds are along the [illegible]. Behind the altar a
large glass window separates the church from the
dome. On the rights aisle is a small room called
Napoleon's chapelle containing the three stone slabs
from Napoleon's tomb at St Helena's I also saw
a recent painting of the world war which is hung
above the entrance door.
