Mom is helping her two and half year old daughter. Mary Grace clean her feet. We had just come from the neighbor's pond where Mary Grace had been walking along the edge on the rocks. Mary Grace does not like to have dirty feet. This is about an intimate moment between mother and daughter. Their hands and feet define the space and intensify that feeling.
