TextThere are ten main camps in the Game Reserve where accommodation can be found in either huts or tents. Everyone must be in camp before dark or are penalized by a heavy fine.

In the eastern part of the Transvaal, a vast territory covering some 8,000 square miles is given over to what is surely the strangest use in the world. For here, in the Kruger National Park, the customary positions are reversed. The animals roam freely while the public is imprisoned in cars or compounds.
