Six young Fingo girls sang and danced for us along the road to Grahamstown, South Africa. One even played a harmonica.
We gave then each a lipstick, and their squeals of delight were charming. Each carried a staff, just as the young men do, but although the boys engage in "stick-fighting," we somehow didn't think the girls would.
