EN ROUTE TO GUAM - U.S. Navy planes form a pattern in the sky while in the/ background an aircraft carrier leaves a wake straight as an arrow...pointed/ towards Guam. On July 20, 1944, the "triphibious" assault was launched against the/ island... first U.S. possession retaken from the Japs since the war began./
