ANTI-AIRCRAFT DOTTED IWO'S SHORES - Across the top of these almost invincible/ rocky crags which guarded IWO JIMA, anti-aircraft gun emplacements may be seen/ in this pre-invasion reconnaissance photograph, daring for its low-level angles./ U.S. Marines landed on Iwo Jima February 19, 1945./
