DescriptionContains thirty mounted albumen silver prints, approximately 18.2 x 23.2 cm each, depicting the activities of a group of men with shovels and picks clearing the tracks of the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company (OR & N Railroad), as well as winter views of rock formations, including the Needles and Bridal Veil Bluffs, the Oneonta Falls, the upper and lower Multnomah Falls, and the Columbia River. All images are captioned. Album has the name “C. J. Smith” stamped on the front cover, and all edges gilt.
