DescriptionAlbum containing gelatin or collodion silver prints made in the vicinity of Filiasi in Southwest Romania (near Craiova), July 23 and 24, 1894. These are identified as the work of a photographer employed by D. Heitler and Co. Includes many group portraits of workers in the field with farm equipment (identified as Plano Company Machines), local cemetery, and churches. Hand-written narrative describes many of the images. Album in bound in leather with debossed gold lettering.
