Mrs. Rose Pfeffer of Flushing, New York, not satisfied with \ the formal tour to the Convent of Acolman asked the driver to stop \ so she could see how Mexican women wash their clothes. Don Wimmer, \ boy scout of Liberal, Mo. was also curious. Since neither of them \ spoke more than five words of Spanish they couldn't find out much \ more than their eyes could see. Undaunted, Mrs. Pfeffer asked if \ she could help with laundry, which fortunately was not understood \ by the peasant girl. However, everyone had a good time \ and Mrs. Pfeffer and Don Wimmer returned to their \ rented car feeling that they had a picture of real Mexico, and the Indian girl had a good laugh at the amusing "turistas."
