Typed on applied label on verso, C: 14. The Indian bread, plate, and spoon is the tortilla, a flat \ pan-cake made of ground corn and water. It is patted into shape \ and cooked on a charcole [sic] brassiere. Mr. C.C. Ramert of Harlington \ Texas, a roadmaster on the Misouri [sic] Pacific RR, is here with his \ family for a weeks [sic] stay. These are their first tortillas, and \ they're good!
