APOLLO 8 MOON VIEW - - This is an oblique view of the lunar/ horizon looking southwest. This photograph, taken during/ the Apollo 8 lunar orbit mission, covers an area on the fore-/ground to the northwest of the crater Tsiolkovsky on the lunar/ farside. The area in the foreground is located at about 15/ degrees south latitude and 120 degrees east longitude. The/ lunar surface probably has less pronounced color than indicated by this print.
