DescriptionNo serial #, glossy black painted camera with meiscus lens. This camera appears to be a pre-production sample; the swing out leg used to hold the camera vertical appears to not be plated and does not have a serial number stamped into the back side. In his guide book "Vest Pocket Kodak Camera 1912-1935 A Guide", Jay H. Kay describes this camera as a Vest Pocket Kodak S-01a as the front shutter plate does not have the dimple stop just past the largest lens opening. The camera appears to be a 1912 model, except it is not fitted with have the early model's square cornered bellows.
