Inscriptions on original negative sleeve (ink): Johnstown Flood, May 31, 1889 / Photo taken from train passing over the old Rockville Steel Trestle Bridge on way to Johnstown. This trestle was prevented from being swept from the shore abutments by a long freight train loaded with steel girders on the bridge. Taken by William N. Jennings / Original Eastman Paper Back Neg.
