Description3¼ x 4¼ RB, serial #150991 with red leather, no lens
TextThe Series B was added to the Graflex camera line in 1923 as an entry-level product. This red leather–covered camera, serial number 150,991, was produced in a lot of three hundred Series Bs in 1926. It is the only known example with this covering, and is thought to be a color study possibly inspired by industrial designer Walter Dorwin Teague, who was hired by Eastman Kodak Company as a consultant. (Folmer Graflex was owned by Kodak from 1905 to 1925.)
