In power since May 16th, he will receive the \ carefully planned accolade of a visit with President Kennedy next \ month. Pak, who usually wears an Army fatigue uniform, is a stern \ man little given to sociability. His sim: "To give a sense of \ direction to the people." His toughness was indicated when on \ October 23 Seoul announced that his former associate and first \ head of the junta, Liet. Gen.
