Inscriptions Type printed with negative LC: (Moon Progress) 2/63 10) [inscribed in black ink] RENDEZVOUS: Returning from a lunar visit, spacemen edge their "bug" up to the cone- \ shaped mother ship, speeding along at 5,000 m.p.h. in orbit around the moon. A decade from now, spacemen may \ be doing just that. Meanwhile docking techniques are practiced in an orbital rendezvous simulator in Martin- \ Marietta's Baltimore plant. Both mother ship and "bug" are attached to analogue computers that feed the crew- \ men flight problems and indicate their mistakes. Credit: Elliott Erwitt © 1963 MAGNUM Photos
