One of many statues of Jesus to be found in the \ Polish countryside, this one near Cracow seems to symbolize the pres- \ ent plight of the Polish Roman Catholic Church. In an episcopal \ letter from Warsaw on June 3, Cardinal Wyszynski called on Christians \ to pray for the return of Poland's "Godless" to the faith.
