Inscriptions Typed in black ink on applied label, verso C: (Montevideo) 7/61 6) CONSERVATIVE PRESIDENT VICTOR EDUARDO HAEDO OF \ URUGUAY is a canny, cautious politician, much like Argentinian \ President Arturo Frondizi (center). President Haedo will be \ host to the forthcoming Montevideo conference which he is \ discussing with President Frondizi at this informal meeting \ in Haedo's chalet at resort town Puna del Este, one of the \ main scenes of the conference. But a new generation of Latin \ youth is intrigued and fascinated by the winds of change \ blowing from Cuba and from such Eastern bloc countries as \ busy Latin-oriented Czechoslovakia, where President Haedo's pretty daughter and official hostess, Beatriz (left) \ made a long visit last summer. And in President Fronizi's \ family, the deep, spreading political cleavage dividing \ Latins cuts even deeper - his younger brother, Dr. Silvio \ Frondizi, is an ardent Fidelista [underlined]. \ Credit: Andrew St. George © 1961 MAGNUM PHOTOS
