You are doubtless surprised at receiving back your chair and cards but not more so than we were on finding the goods so different from our order - you will find on reference to our order that we wanted the $25.00 chair advertised on your circular as a flush mounted chair of superior workmanship - the difference will be sufficiently obvious for [crossed out] to you without further comments - as to cards we ordered them printed Farmer Village [underlined] - while those you sent read Farrier Village [underlined] which will not do us - if the chair you sent is the nearest you can come to fill my order we have only to say - that it will not answer our purpose - please notify us early as to the mistakes- in the meantime we remain / yours & c. / G.S. Tubbs Son & Co. / per S.E. Tubbs
