The restoration of The End of the Road was a major cooperative effort funded by the National Film Preservation Foundation. The project was undertaken by George Eastman House, and the Selznick School of Film Preservation, with contribtuions from the Museum of Modern Art, the National Archives and Record Administration, and the Library of Congress / Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division.
