verso (printed in black): 38202 / LARGE PASSENGER AIRPLANES, / LA GUARDIA FIELD, NEW YORK / For a long, long time man had wanted / to learn to fly. When your grandfather / was a very little boy few people had ever / heard of an airplane. /
Orville and Wilbur Wright watched / the birds fly. They thought a machine / could be made to fly too. They worked / for years before they made one that / would stay up in the air. At last they / made one that could really fly. Now there / are airplanes that fly clear around the / world. They fly over mountains. They / fly over vallleys. They fly in all kinds of weather. / Here we see some big airplanes. See / the peoople that are going to get on the airplane? How many passengers do you / think can ride in this airplane? It will / carry the passengers over the ocean. See / the passengers getting off the other air-/plane. They have come from across the / ocean. /
Some airplanes can go very fast. They / can go 450 miles in an hour. Maybe some / day you can ride on an airplane. Who / knows?
