You remember having read, day after day, / thrilling dispatches about the elusive raider / "Emsden." Ship after ship was captured and / sunk by her, sending their valuable cargoes to / "Davy Jones' Locker." Here is a torpedo taken / from the "Emsden" after her capture. Doesn't / it suggest, by its shape the repulsive "shark,"/ hated and feared by all men?
