Inscriptions verso (typed): This bas-relief by Carl [sic] Bitter has been removed from Broad Stret Station waiting room to the new 30th Street waiting room, Philadelphia. Although executed in 1889, the artist shows a dirigible on wheels as the last phase of transportation.
