Inscriptions verso (applied label with printed black ink): End of the party. In this community drinking is considered a man's attribute. Men / encourage each other to drink more and more. They consider it very manly. Boys are / encouraged to drink from their early teens. It is quite usual to hear conversations in / which they consider wine as special guest or as a lovely woman they can posses. Women / don't drink as much as men and accept their drunkenness passively as it was not their / problem. Although when men are not around, they talk about drinking and its / consequences recognizing this as a problem. Some men have told me they drink / because tehy are bored, or because their women are jealous, or on account of social / pressure. 1997.- / Cristina Fraire .- Print 12
