Inscriptions Typed in ink on slip of paper placed behind photograph: New York World's Fair, taken by someone in1940; possibly by A. Thomas Nelson when Mr. & Mrs. Nelson saw the fair in September of 1940 as I find this to be one of four negatives among ours. See 3x3 7/8 print of fountains playing at night for more information. - I believe the building on the extreme left is where I purchased the small Italian chased pill box, (white metal with rounded ends, lined with gold): also two types of perfume bottles, gold color with red semi-precious stones given for gifts. One was very unusual, round and flat, perhaps 1/2" thick, with red stone incenter and hinged, opening on the half with glass container inside. The other was very small but stood upright and the topcontained a rod droper.
