Inscriptions Typed in ink on slip of paper placed behind photograph: Blossom of the Night Blooming Cerus (spelling of Cerus?) which opens after dark. Taken at the home of Will Jarvis at Hayesville, Ashland Co., by A. Thomas Nelson about 1905 or possibly earlier. I believe a bloom of this plant opens but once.
