Inscriptions Typed in ink on slip of paper placed behind photograph: Two pictures of Lakewood Speedway, N.J., between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. The two prints are joined at the five entrance gates to show the sweep of the speedway. A lecturer at the Academy of Natural Science, Philadelphia, said the small 3' high scrub oak such as shown here was a type over 200 years old in this part of N.J. See print of the speedway at a greater distance for further information. Taken by A. Thomas Nelson about 1925.
