Inscriptions Written in ink on recto, TC: On the road.
Typed in ink on slip of paper placed behind photograph: A truck wrecekd beside a bridge somehow. I could never see how it got there. Taken by someone between Cleveland and Elyria, O. about 1917 or 1918. My father, Grant S. Price is seen on the bridge with his company car parked at the side of the road ahead. Mr. Price could drive with any of them and did at times, but said he passed too many wrecks along the road to be inclined to be headstrong. Often cards going too fast, passed him, yet he would pull into the next town ahead of them by taking a steady seed. He got there.
