Typed in ink on slip of paper placed behind photograph: Walk, and terrace on the grounds of a fine Philadelphia, Pa. home to which Henry Davis had access even if the family was away. Mr. Davis' aunt, Miss Harriet Gaul was employed in charge of the Service Dept. of the Board of Home Missions and Church Extension of the M.E. Church, 17th and Arch Streets, Phila., Pa. Taken by Mr. Davis about 1926 to 1930. Mr. Davis was with the Bureau of Architecture which was formerly connected with the Board. Probably developed and printed by A. Thomas Nelson for Mr. Davis, a friend.
