Inscriptions Written in ink on recto, TRC: Entrance door.

Typed in ink on slip of paper placed behind photograph: Christmas decorations in office, waiting and reception room of Dr. Geneva Groth at the Medical Arts Bldg., 16th and Walnut Sts., Phila., Pa. The figures on the wall, a complete story, were secured on one of Dr. (Geneva) Groths vacation trips into New England as being of interest to children. See "entrance door" print to reception and waiting room for more information. Taken by A. Thomas Nelson about 1936. This picture taking in three sides of the room shows the advantage of Mr. Nelson's battery of lenses. His camera was made to order with a reversible swing back and one part on a turret. Mr. Nelson could take a church steeple on a very narrow street (often required) without the steeple leaning or going out of proportion or three sides, nearly the entire room, a thing which other photographers seemed unable to do. An entire room could be taken in two shots.
