After a distinguished theatrical \ career went into pictures 1919, where he won fam in "The \ Cabinet of Dr. Caligari." Went to Hollywood in 1924 and \ made several films, but on the arrival of talkies came to England \ and became one of the most popular of the stars in the English \ studios. "I was a Spy." "Wandering Jew," "Jew Suss," \ and "King of the Damned" are his outstanding films. \ This is No. 33 of a series of cards appearing in \ the larger packings of DE RESZKE Cigarettes \ and other Godfrey Phillips Associated brands.
