Inscriptions verso-(printed label) "On the banks of the Liffey. It is not often
that the photographer is fortunate enough to secure the conditions of
light and repose embraced in this picture. It presents a copious
illustration of minute details of foliage which a breath of wind might
have blurred, and a clearness of reflection in the water which a
ripple must have rendered obscure... We are indebted for our picture
to the skill of Mr. T.M. Brownrigg, Secretary of the Photographic
Society of Dublin. L.R."
