Inscriptions Inscribed on recto in black ink BC: One morning I awoke from a dream about you: \ you had come into my room to hug me good-bye, \ as you often did before leaving for work. \ As I hugged you, I could smell the starch \ of your clean white shirt. I could also smell \ the lingering fragrance of your shaving cream \ on your face. It was so clear in my dream. \ So clear!
