Inscriptions Printed on applied label attached at verso: MIA [illegible] NEW YORK BUREAU \ MAGICIANS NEEDED \ MIAMI, FLA.: Cargo men for Pan American World \ Airways perform an Indian rope trick all \ their own as they load 2364 feet of 3-inch \ hawser aboard a Clipper bound for Kingston. \ The rope arrived here in two huge coils - \ too large to be fitted through the cargo \ doors of the plane. Baffled for awhile, the \ staff finally worked out a bit of magic. The \ hawser was uncoiled, hauled through the \ doorway and then coiled all over again inside \ the plane. The same procedure was used to \ unload the 5740 pound shipment at Kingston. \ NY-1-2-3 FOR \ CREDIT (ACME) 6/29/49 (NT)
