Inscriptions Inscribed in pen on applied label on spine of case: 581
Entry 581 in Mackay's notebook (located in library): 1/6 size case, lacquer with mother-of-pearl inlaid front, moss roses, etc. Back cover leather with harp. Contains dag. of young brother & sister. Line down center of plate cuts off part of arm of each. Two dags. must have been cut down and rephotographed as a group. Maker of plate is “E. White Maker, N.Y.
