Entry 607 in Mackay's notebook (located in library): Excellent Mascher’s Stereoscope Dag. case, minus the 2 dags. Has little etched brass rims around lenses. Hope to find picture for it sometime. 3.00. Now holds rare ¼ size Civil War tintype showing soldiers in camp with pistols, guns, and swords. Tents in background. Bare trees of wintertime.
