Inscriptions Entry 203 in Mackay's notebook (located in library): Ambrotype of jeweled young woman in lovely flowered hoop-skirt dress and lace mittens. Inscription inside are as follows:-- “A young man gave this picture to William Worthington to bring home for the young man’s people who live in Bucks County on either Warwick or Buckingham Fork (?) Mr. Worthington could not remember the young man’s name. Picture dates back to about 1861.” This may have been sent back from War by dying soldier to his family in care of another soldier. (gift)
